​The water project that has kept K-63 closed these last few weeks is about to be completed. However, the last step requires the water to be shut-off for a portion of the city. The contractor is planning to turn the water off for the affected area at approximately 8:00 am on Monday, April 21, 2025. The work is expected to take from (4) four to (6) six hours and affect the area designated on the map below (click the image below to enlarge it). Once the work is complete - hopefully the same day (Monday) - concrete may be poured and K-63 may be reopened after 5 to 7 days. 

Also, please keep in mind that water pressure around town may also decrease slightly while the work is being done on Monday - this will likely be due to having to open-up several fire hydrants to help reduce water in the project area.
