Join the SMPD and its community partners for the annual Trunk or Treat! We'll have Candy and Popcorn at Riverside Park Sunday, October 31st, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM   City employees don "Public Power Week 2021" shirts provided by the Kansas Power Pool. According to the American Public Power Association, "Public power utilities across the U.S. celebrate Public Power Week the first full week of October every year to help customers and stakeholders understand how they can better engage with their community-owned utility and benefit from all its offerings. American Public Power Association member utilities can use the sample resources and templates to spread the word and help celebrate in your communities."
 The City of St. Marys was incorporated as a city of the third class on Friday, October 8, 1869. According to the Google, that will have been 55,517 days come Friday, October 8, 2021.
