Please have all vehicles removed from Bertrand Avenue by 5:00 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, December 23rd as the Street Department employees will be cleaning the street at that time.
At the December 21, 2021 City Commission meeting Christie Hitch-Johnson, president of Tri County Waste, spoke about her increased cost for everything from fuel to dumpsters, as well as the cost to retain good employees. After discussion, the City Commission agreed to increase the residential rates by $2.00. Tri County Waste's commercial rates have not changed.
The image below reflects the rate increase that will appear on the February 1, 2022 utility bills. The Tuesday, December 21, 2021 City Commission meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m. The advertised hearing for amending the 2021 Budget is still scheduled for 7:10 p.m. The link below is for the meeting packet.
