Recently, there has been some confusion when it comes to getting fingerprinted at City Hall for employment background checks.
When arranging for said service please verify that it is with the Saint Marys Police Department in St. Marys, or the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office in Westmoreland.
If you're coming to St. Marys City Hall (200 S. 7th Street) for fingerprinting you must bring your own fingerprint card and the fee is $15. After you are fingerprinted, you are required to send the fingerprint card to whomever requested it.
