SNOW EMERGENCY DECLAREDAs per St. Marys City Code Article 16-208, a “Snow Emergency” has been declared for Saturday, January 4th, and Sunday, January 5th. As a result of the declaration, parking along the “Emergency Snow Route” is prohibited. The Emergency Snow Route is defined as both sides of Bertrand Avenue (US-24) from the west city limits to the east city limits, both sides of North Sixth Street (K-63) from Bertrand Avenue to the north city limits, and both sides of South Sixth Street from Bertrand Avenue to the Transfer Station. Also, during a Snow Emergency overnight parking is available in both Railroad and Riverside Parks. Enforcement will begin only after it starts snowing/icing.
