Parade

The parade is featuring the Fort Riley's Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard - which will be performing a live-mounted demonstration showcasing the skill, precision, and tradition of U.S. Calvary soldiers. The exhibition features authentic Calvary drills using historical weapons, including the 1861 Cavalry Light Saber, .45-caliber revolver, and the 1873 Remington .45-caliber lever-action repeater rifle. Please note: the demonstration requires a clear space of at least 80 feet, so Bertrand Avenue needs to be clear of vehicles during this time. ​Thank you for your cooperation!
