The city was recently awarded a second CCLIP grant from the state to repair the surface of K-63 from US-24 to Elm Street. Also, during a previous grant-cycle the city was awarded a CCLIP grant to help maintain US-24 from 3rd Street to Maple Hill Road. The project sites may be seen in the image below, with the gold color indicating the new project areas, and the blue line illustrating the previous CCLIP projects. Each of the CCLIP grants provide the city with up to $300,000, or a total of up to $600,000. The city has to match 5% of the cost up to the states $300,000, cover any amount over the state's $300,000, and pay for all of the engineering costs. (The cost estimates on the image below are from March 2020.) A timeframe for the street work has not been set yet.
